The World
We live in a high-speed parallel world. Each of us is a center, and around us countless actions unfold at the same moment. Different worlds cross one another, walking side by side, sometimes overlapping, sometimes passing silently behind. Every day we choose which world we belong to. We can move through the streets with music in our ears, absorbed in our own thoughts, or we can slow down and allow the surrounding world to reach us. We can let it shape our perspective and become part of our own story. I choose to feel. I search for beauty wherever it appears. I look for symmetry, for the quiet geometry of a moment, and for the invisible threads that connect different worlds together. I try to compose these moments like a poem. The sounds of the city, the movement of people, fragments of music, wind, light, and shadow all become part of the atmosphere I move through. With this emotional landscape, the camera becomes my instrument. It is my brush, my pencil, my piano. Through it I try to describe what I see and what I feel, and to share stories that can move quietly from one world into another.
